Art of Wellness Chiropractic
Dr. Bess M. Romagna DC, graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Before going to Chiropractic School, she attended Carroll College in Waukesha, WI. While attending undergrad she began working for a chiropractor in Brown Deer. There she found a love of helping people and a form of healthcare that is both personal and natural. She is very pleased to besecommunity and looks forward to making a difference in your health. She has chosen to continue her education and has been nutrition certified by the state of Wisconsin and has furthered her nutrition education by becoming a Certified Clinical Nutritionist. This education has expanded Dr. Bess’ treatments to include natural ways to improve your health. Because of this education, Dr. Bess sees a wide variety of health conditions and has seen miracles in her office ranging from miracle babies to miracle disease resolutions.
Dr. Bess has always had a “family first” outlook on life and welcomes full families into the clinic. She marries her high school sweetheart Michael, and they have two wonderful children Autumn and Gregory. Autumn was born one week after chiropractic graduation and many of Dr. Bess’ long term patients remember her during her first year of Dr. Bess’ practice as she started rolling and crawling. Gregory was born at home with the help of a fabulous midwife, and was adjusted right afterwards becoming Dr. Bess’ youngest patient! She attributes chiropractic care and nutrition to both of her successful natural pregnancies and deliveries. Dr. Bess works with pregnant women at all stages from nutrition before pregnancy to during labor, to post pregnancy and is happy to treat new babies free of charge with their moms.
Dr. Bess treats all ages, from brand new to the young at heart and is pleased to offer you the best chiropractic services. She prides herself on treating all patients as individuals and focuses her treatment on muscle rehabilitation and massage. These treatments typically take longer and involve more muscle work than traditional chiropractic treatments. Dr. Bess traditionally see faster relief and longer lasting results!
Dr. Nicholas J. Lundbohm is a doctor of chiropractic with 9 years of experience in diversified technique. This practice style allows him to focus his treatment on the individual in his office rather than try to make every case fit some traditional mold. Diversified chiropractic technique traditionally utilizes manual chiropractic adjustments along with relevant physiotherapeutic treatments and nutrition education to optimize the patient’s nervous system, which is the primary control system of the entire body. This allows the patient to return to an optimal level of health without the use of unnecessary drugs or surgery. It is Dr. Lundbohm’s approach to not just simply relieve pain, but to educate his patients on how their body possesses all the tools it needs to heal itself from an injury, prevent injuries and disease from occurring, and maintain a healthy lifestyle so that person can live their life to the fullest. He has extensive experience in treating a wide range of cases such as auto accidents, work place injuries, sports injuries, headaches, and pediatric cases. He has adjusted thousands of patients over the years ranging in ages from a few hours to 93. Dr. Lundbohm is also certified to perform US Department of Transportation Physicals, urine drug screening, and breath alcohol testing.
A native of Minnesota, Dr. Lundbohm grew up in the Brainerd lakes area, 2 hours north of the Twin Cities metro of Minneapolis and St. Paul. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a minor in History. While in college Dr. Lundbohm participated in division III cross country running, track, and hockey as well as served as President of his local chapter of the Phi Alpha Fraternity. He completed his graduate studies at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in November of 2004. After practicing for almost three years in the Twin Cities area Dr. Lundbohm migrated first to Madison, before ultimately settling in Wauwatosa just outside of Milwaukee in 2008.
When he is not chasing his 2 year old daughter Alessandra around the playground, Dr. Lundbohm can usually be found on the golf course, the curling rink, or out training for another half marathon. After completing a couple full marathons during graduate school he decided 13.1 miles was far enough. Growing up in northern Minnesota also instilled a love of the outdoors and Dr. Lundbohm will usually not say no to a weekend fishing or hunting expedition.
Dr. Lundbohm has completed dozens of hours of post-graduate continuing education and continues to be on the cutting edge of the latest research and developments in chiropractic. He is available for educational speaking engagements, spinal screenings, or even a simple phone consultation. Spreading the value of chiropractic to as many people as possible is his ultimate goal and he hopes that chiropractic will soon be looked at as the first stop people look for in their health and wellness education, rather than a last, reluctant, resort.
Dr. Kimberly Anderson, DC is a 1982 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Her first chiropractic position was as an associate in Northern Illinois. She met her husband Pete during her time there. After 2 years working in her first practice, she was hoping to return to the southern Wisconsin area, where she had grown up. She found a job with Schimp Chiropractic Office in Hartford, WI, working with and learning from Dr. James Schimp. Her 31 years of caring for area families at that clinic has been a great place to practice.
She is a founding member of the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics and has education in nutrition and current certification.Over the years she has taken courses in several different areas in chiropractic healthcare.
Dr. Anderson takes special interest in family care and has a love for babies and children. Her 3rd and 4th children were born at home with a local midwife. She feels comfortable with the little ones and has that “grandma’s touch”.Dr. Kim is a mother of 4 and, so far, a grandma of 5. According to her, being a grandma to her five grandchildren is one of the best things ever!
Dr. Kim is excited to be part of Art of Wellness Chiropractic and looks forward to helping families with good health through the benefits of regular chiropractic care. Her “common sense” viewpoint of living well starts with basic healthy habits, positive informed choices, good thoughts and wise nutritional considerations. Generally, learning to “make better choices” as we go in life. One of her life thoughts is “everything in moderation”. She believes balance and moderation and attention to structure and function are key to good health and a positive outlook on life.
She is an active member in her church and over the years has worked and volunteered in Children’s and Women’s ministry. Growing in faith, serving God and helping people is dear to her heart.
