Be Well Therapeutic Massage
Dawn R. Hodi, M.ED, LMT

Dawn R. Hodi is the owner of Be Well Therapeutic Massage, LLC. She has been a practicing therapist for 12 years.

Prior to Dawn’s work as a massage therapist, she worked for 20+ years in the fields of addictions, behavioral health and child welfare in the Chicago and Milwaukee metro areas.

As an educator, Dawn’s history extends from teaching English at the University of Missouri, to training as a member of the Milwaukee Child Welfare/UWM Supervisor Training Institute, and most recently as an instructor at Lakeside School of Massage Therapy where she taught ethics, critical thinking, and neuromuscular massage therapy.

Be Well Therapeutic Massage, LLC (BWTM) was established in 2002. Since then, Dawn has concentrated her continuing education on   Neuromuscular and Orthopedic Massage, and the mind/body connections. BWTM has served as the exclusive massage therapy provider for Art of Wellness Chiropractic. Dawn has worked with Dr. Bess Romagna, DC for seven years, and enjoys the collaboration with all the Art of Wellness doctors. A hallmark of her work with clients is that she has treated many of them for several years and has had the good fortune to meet and treat their families and friends as well.

BWTM has recently expanded to include two new massage therapists. Dawn’s plan with their addition is to promote the BWTM values and priorities and provide the supervision and mentoring that therapists need to shape their own practice into one that can thrive over time.

Dawn’s philosophy as a healing professional: “My belief is that many of the health concerns, injuries and pain that our clients suffer are ones that demand a coordinated and multi-faceted response. We are physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual beings, and none of these aspects are truly separate. I invite and encourage nutritional, energetic and personally meaningful avenues for my clients on their healing journeys.”
